The County Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County, Wisconsin
do ordain as follows:
Section 1:
a. No person shall travel,upon ,a4iy county-designated
snowmobile trail by any means other, thar a snowmobile or a
vehicle being used for trail grooming A6T.01antenance during
the time of the, year that.•such )-trail is f.t�,use as a snowmobile
trail.
b. A 'landowner, or sriy ;persons authorized by the landowner, is o
exempted from this section pith respect to those portions of
the trail on the said landowner's property.
Section 2:
No person shall damage,.,',,,mar, or deface the surface or
any other part of any county=designated snowmobile trail during — ' =
the time of the year that stJoh trail is in use as at snowmobile
trail.
Section 3?•
No person shall deface', destroy, or remove .any snowmobile
trail signs from. any county-designated snowmobile trails.

Section 4:
"Snowmobile". means any engine-driven vehicle of any type
wiich utilizes sled type runners, or skis, or an endless bElt
tread or any combination of these or other similar means of
contact with the surface. upon -'Which it is operated,

section 5:
Any person who shall violate any provision of this ordinance
shall, upon conviction ther.e.4f, 'forfeit not more than x£50 together
with the costs of the prosecution; and in. default of payment of
that sum, shall be imprisoned in 'the County Jail until said for-
feiture and costs are paid, brat 'not exceeding 30 days. —

This ordinance shall take eXfect upon its passage and proper,
publication.
