WHEREAS, St. Croix County presently has in existence a Dance-Hall
Ordinance, effective date September 30, 1974, and
WHEREAS, in 1977, certain provisions of the Dance Hail Ordinance
were suspended by the County Board for a period of one year, after +
which time, the entire said Ordinance again became valid and binding;
and

WHEREAS, it is the recommendation of the Law' Enfor

that the same provisions suspended previously for a one year period of
time be- suspended again for another one year period of time; and
WHEREAS, said mandatory provisions to be suspended again refer
only to the necessity of obtaining a written permit from the County
Clerk to hold or conduct a public dance and the included provision
of the necessity to have a dance hall inspector present for said dance,
and nothing further.
THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, ;
meeting in regular session, that the St. Croix County Dance Hall Ordinance
presently in effect be suspended in the following sections, for a period
of not to exceed one year: +
Section 4--All provisions
Section 6(b)--Everything following the phrase "duly issued license."
Section 6(c)
Section 7(d)
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that all remaining provisions of said k'
ordinance shall remain in effect during said trial period,
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that at the conclusion of one year from
the date of adoption of this ordinance, the entire St. Croix County Dance h
Tull Ordinance, including all suspended provisions, shall become valid s
and binding*
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the effective date of this Ordinance
shall be the date on which its enactment is voted by the St. Croix County
Board, and
BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall immediately be
published according to legal publication procedures for newly enacted
ordinances.
