WHEREAS, St. Croix County presently has in existence an Ordinance
Regulating Large Assemblies, effective date July 31, 1970, and
WHEREAS, after meeting with various groups, and after holding a
public hearing on the subject, the Law Enforcement Committee recommends
that the present Ordinance be amended in several parts, and
WHEREAS, the Law Enforcement Committee further recommends that
these amendments be included in a complete rewriting of said. Ordinance, and
WHEREAS, the attached Ordinance Regulating Large Assemblies does
contain all of the proposed changes and further includes each previous amended Ordr
inane passed by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT ORDAINED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors, meeting in regular session, that the present Ordinance Regulating
Large Assemblies be repealed and that the attached Ordinance Regulating Large
Assemblies be adopted as a new Ordinance for St. Croix County,
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the effective date of this Ordinance
shall be the date of the first publication in the County Newspaper for St.
Croix County,
AND BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that this Ordinance shall immediately be
published in the County Newspaper for St. Croix County according to legal
publication procedures for newly enacted ordinances.
Adopted this 17th day of JANUARY 1978.
