WHEREAS petition number 77-12 was received by the St. Croix
County Clerk on December 22, 1977, and was referred by the Clerk to the
St. Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee
which Committee held a public hearing on the matter January 16, 1978,
preceeded by proper notice pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes; and
WHEREAS the St. Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning
and Parks Committee recomended adoption of the Ordinance setforth below
to carry out the intent of this petition.
ORDAINED
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT M�Pwffl by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors that the following Ordinance be adopted:
Section 5.7.3(4) of the St. Croix County
Subdivision Ordinance is hereby repealed
and is replaced with the following:
5.7.3 Street Standards
(4) Cul-de-sacs shorter than 1000 feet shall be
approved without appeal to the Committee; cul-de-sacs
longer than 1000 teet ma be a roved the Committee;
where excess engths are unavoidab e and where provisions
are made for turnarounds or alternative exits as deeCL
necessary by the Committee. The startin oint for
measuring len the o cul-de-sacs shall be the centerline
o the intersecting road. All cul-de-sacs shall have a
minimum 80' foot radius turnaround.

I, F. Verna Stohlberg, County Clerk in and for said County, do hereby
certify that the foregoing Ordinance Amendment No. 5 (78) is a true and
correct copy of said Ordinance Amendment adopted by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors at their meeting held on the 22nd day of Feb., 1978.
Said Ordinance Amendment also amended to read as states above.
