WHEREAS petition number 77-16 was received by the St.
Croix County Clerk on December 22, 1977, and was referred by the Clerk
to the St.Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks
Committee which Committee held a public hearing on the matter January
16, 1978, preceeded by proper notice pursuant to Wisconsin Statutes;
and
>WHEREAS the St. Croix County Comprehensive Planning, Zoning
and Parks Committee recomended adoption of the Ordinance setforth
below to carry out the intent of this petition.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT 1S�C%1ViW by the St. Croix County
Board of Supervisors that the following Ordinance be adopted:
Amend Section 2.9.6 of the St. Croix
County Zoning Ordinance(General Zoning-
Industrial District) as follows:
2.9.6 Special Exceptions
The following uses may be allowed as a special exception upon
approval by the Board of Adjustment as provided in Section 9.7
and with the s ecific approval of the affected Town Boards. For
the purpose of this section, the affected Town Boards s a be
the Board of the Town where the site is located and the Board of
anv other Town which is located within 4 mile of the site. The
Board of Adjustment will give special attention to such factors as
smoke, dust, noxious or toxic gases and odors, noise, glare,
vibration, heavy vehicular traffic and increased traffic on the
public streets:
(a) Acid, ammonia, bleach, chlorine or soap manufacture.
(b) Ammunition, or explosive manufacture or storage
(c) Asphalt, coal, coal tar or coke manufacture; asphalt and
asphalt mixing plants.
(d) Cement or lime manufacture, cement or concrete mixing plants.
(e) Bone distillation, fat rendering or any other form of dead
animal reduction.
(f) Fertilizer manufacture.
