RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING COUNTY PARTICIPATION IN STATE PROGRAM
OF MANAGEMENT IMPROVEMENT PRODUCTIVITY, AND FUND TRANSFER TO
DEFRAY COSTS
- WHEREAS St:' Croix County Government has expanded to provide necessary
services to its citizens, and
WHEREAS a continued expansion may be necessary if existing resources
are not sufficient, and
WHEREAS the County has resources in personnel and equipment which may
be better utilized to provide for the future;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
in regular session as follows:
1. That the Finance Committee of the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors is authorized to enter into an agreement with
the State of Wisconsin, if it deems such agreement to be in
the interests of the County. The purpose of this agreement is:
A. To study management and productivity of county
governmental units.
B. To offer systems analysis services to other
governmental units located in St. Croix County.
C. To make recommendations to the County concerning
more efficient utilization of existing personnel
and equipment resources.
AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
authorizes and appropriates a sum of $7,000, which shall not exceed 20% of
the cost of said Management Improvement Productiwi.ty Study, and the sum
of $7,000 is herebytransferred from the St. Croix County General Fund to
the Management Productivity Improvement Study Account.
