RESOLUTION
WHEREAS the Statutes of the State of Wisconsin provides for a planning
and zoning committee to act in all matters pertaining to county planning
and zoning: and
WHEREAS the St. Croix County Board has established the Comprehensive
Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee: and
WHEREAS at the request of the County Board this committee is to review
petition, hold public hearings and report its recommendations to the County
Board for action: and
WHEREAS the Comprehensive Planning, Zoning and Parks Committee has
fullfilled its duties on the petition of George Holcomb.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Comprehensive Planning,
Zoning and Parks Committee recommends approval for the rezonement to ,
residential from commercial of the following land:
Approximately 12.83 acres located in Government Lot l of Section 34,
T30N,R20W, Town of St. Joseph, described as follows: Commencing at
the NE corner of said Section 34; thence Sl°37'20"E (assumed bearing)
768.03' along the East line of Government Lot 1 to the point of be
ginning; thence N51"28'W 308.16' along the Southwesterly right-of-way
line of present State Trunk Highway "35"; thence S38132'W 5.00' along
said Southwesterly right-of-way line; thence N51`28'W 202.69' along
said Southwesterly right-of-way line; thence S25032'W 845' , more or
less, to the shore line of Lake St. Croix; thence Southeasterly 890' ,
more or less, along said shore line to a point which is S1`37'20"E
843.3' , more or less, of the point of beginning; thence Nr 37'20"W
843.3' , more or less, along said East line of Government Lot l to the
point of beginning.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board consider the
said recommendations as presented and take action for the adoption of same.
