4HEREAS, several St. Croix County newspapers, including
the County's legal newspaper, have indicated a desire to send
free copies of their newspapers to each member of the St. Croix
County Board of supervisors; and,
WHEREAS, it is in the best interest of St. Croix County to
have Supervisors who are well-informed about matters occurring
within the County that might be learner from reading said news-
papers; and,
_AH,EREAS, St. Croix County Resolution ;` 14 (74) currently
pronibits the receipt of said newspapers;
NOW THEREFuRE BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors, meeting in regular session, hereby resolve that it
is in the best interest of St. Croix County to permit County Super-
visors to receive free newspapers from any newspaper within this
County by authorizing this receipt as an expressed exception to
Resolution rr 14 (74).
