o.RESOLUTION AND ORDER ESTABLISHING PUBLIC INLAND LAKE PROTECTION
AND REHABILITATION DISTRICT
St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
County Courthouse
Hudson, Wisconsin 54016
On September 11, 1975, a verified petition was. filed with
the St. Croix County Clerk requesting establishment of a public inland
lake protection and rehabilitation district to be know as the Cedar
Lake St. Croix County Lake Protection and Rehabilitation District.
A hearing was held on October 17, 1975, pursuant to Section
32.26, Wisconsin Statutes, with the following Committee presiding:
Mr. F. P. Rock, chairman; Mr. Art Best, vice chairman; Mr. George
Holmes, secretary; Mr. Henry Lowe; Mr. William Thompson.
FINDING OF FACT
Based on the report of the committee holding the hearing in the
_latter, this Board finds :
1. That the petition dated. September 11, 1975, was signed by
at least 51 percent of the landowners in the. proposed district.
2. That the public inland lake protection and rehabilitation
district is necessary and will promote the public health, comfort,
convei,ience, necessity or public welfare:
3. That the property finally included in the district will be
bene-ited by establishment thereof.
4. That formation of a district will not cause or contribute to
Long-range environmental pollution as defined by Section 144.30(9) ,
Wisconsin Statutes.
ORDER
_IT IS, THEREFORE, ORDERED THAT:
1. Pursuant to. Section 33.24, Wisconsin.Statutes, a public inland
lake protection and rehabilitation district is hereby established
to include the area within the following boundaries:

The area of Cedar Lake lying and being in St. Croix County
located in the area within the following boundaries :
On the East County Road M to Town Road, thence along said
Town Road south to County Road H; on the south, thence
West along County Road H to Town Road going North; on the
West, thence North along Town Road to County line; an the
North, St. Croix County line, intersecting Town Road and
County Road M.
2. The district shall be a body corporate to the extent
Provided by Chapter 33, Wisconsin Statutes, and shall be
known as the Cedar Lake St. Croix County Lake Protection
and Rehabilitation District.
