WHEREAS the Social Security Administration proposes-ro t

change the long established County reporting and remittJlng
procedure to monthly basis, and
WHEREAS after 25 years of intensive effort a smoothly
operating procedure for public entities under Social Security
has been achieved and been improved from year to year; it is
apparent that this proposed change would ruin that procedure.
WHEREAS this would cause confusion and frustration within
the offices of the County Clerk and Treasury of St. Croix County,
NOW THEREFORE BE PT RESOLVED AND IS HEREBY RESOLVED that our
Senators Proxmire and Nelson and our Representative Baldus be
apprised of this proposed change and that they be beseiged to
initiate=the necessary legislation to prohibit the Social Security
Administration from making such a change.
