HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1975 (005) z RESOLUTION # WHEREAS, in June of 1974 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors passed Resolutions 32, 33, 34 and 35 relating to the operation of county-owned motor vehicles by county employees for personal use, and WHEREAS, said resolutions unilaterally modified, and are in conflict with, a long-standing employment practice of St. Croix County concerning the personal use of county automobiles by county law enforcement officers and other persons provided with an automobile by the county, and WHEREAS, a continuing and effective personnel program requires that said resolutions be modified to allow for limited personal use by the employees of St. Croix County, and WHEREAS, provision must be made to allow a recovery by St. Croix County for personal use of said automobiles beyond the existing scope of said use; NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors in regular session that upon recommendation of the Personnel Committee, law enforcement officers and other persons provided motor vehicles by St. Croix County with which to discharge their employment responsibilities, and which duties rexM;i.re occasional use of said vehicles outside of normal hours of employment, are granted limited personal use of said vehicles within the confines of St. Croix County; said granted use to be limited to operation by the actual employee of St. Croix County and said use shall not be extended to members of the family, or other persons.
