WHEREAS, the 1973 Federal-Aid Highway Act contains provisions for financing highway
projects on the Federal-Aid Urban System within designated urban area
boundaries, and
WHEREAS, the City of River Falls in conjunction with local officials of the affected
townships has established an appropriate 1980 urban boundary and a 1980
Street Functional Classification plan which is to be converted to the River
Falls Area Federal-Aid Urban System, and
WHEREAS, a portion of a County Trunk Highway within that urban boundary is a Federal-
Aid Secondary Route,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the St, Croix County Highway Committee:
That the St. Croix County Highway Committee hereby requests Wisconsin DOT
and FHWA concurrence to remove the following route from the Federal-Aid
Secondary System and to establish it on the River Falls Area Federal-Aid
Urban System:
That portion of CTH "M" under the jurisdiction of St. Croix County lying
between the west urban area boundary and the east urban area boundary.

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Highway Committee also requests
Wisconsin DOT and FHWA concurrence to establish this additional County
Trunk Highway on the River Falls Area Federal-Aid Urban System:
That portion of CTH "MM" lying between the west urban area boundary
and the intersection with North Main Street.
BE IT FINALLY RESOLVED that the County Highway Committee Chairman be authorized to
affix his signature to the subsequent River Falls Area Boundary and System
Map which will depict the aforementioned urban boundary and FAU system.
Approved on this day of December, 1974, by the County Highway Committee,
St. Croix County, Wisconsin.
