RESOLUTION NO. C�s-)
WHEREAS, each year at the February Session of the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
the Highways &Bridges Committee presents for consideration a "Tentative Highway
Construction" resolution for the subsequent year, and
WHEREAS, the time between the February Session of the County Board and the start of
the construction season in the subsequent year is not sufficient to properly engineer
and obtain permits from various agencies when required, and
WHEREAS, the Highway Department would be better able to plan their work and obtain
permits when required if the "Tentative Highway Construction" program were known two
years prior to the time of construction.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that the "1977 Tentative Highway Construction" program
resolution be presented at the 1975 November County Board Session and the "1978
Tentative Highway Construction" program resolution be presented at the 1976 February
County Board Session.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Highways and Bridges Committee
present at each February County Board Session for consideration the "Tentative
Highway Construction" resolution for the construction season two years hence.
