RFSOLUTION
' Whereas the County of St. Croix does not presently operate a Halfway `
House type of facility for recovering alcoholics and
Whereas some of the patients released from the Alcoholism Treatment
Program at the St. Croix Health Center are in temporary need of
the protected long-term living arrangements provided by a Halfway Y '
House type of facility; and
Whereas such lonq-term living arrangements are available for recovering
alcoholics at the Tri-County Halfway House located at River Falls,
Wisconsin, and operated by the Tri-County Council on Alcoholism-
Drug Abuse; and
Whereas no funds were budgeted by St. Croix County Unified Board
for the ca'endar year 1975, to be used for' Halfwav House services
for recovering alcoholics;
flow Therefore Be It Resolved, that the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors hereby authorizes the transfer of the sum of S6,000.0Q
from the St. Croix Health Center Fund to the St . Croix Countv
Unified Services Board for the purpose of fundinn Halfway Fouse
Services during the calendar year 1975, for the Alcoholism
Treatment Program,
