Resolution Regarding Request To The West Central Wisconsin Regional
Planning Commission For Update of the County Outdoor Recreation Plan ti
WMOM S, the St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan was developed
and adopted in 1970 for a five year planning period; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan included plans t
for several ocumnities within the county; and

WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Outdoor Recreation Plan made the county ?
and the communities included eligible to participate in federal Land and r
Water Conservation Fund (LAWCON) and Outdoor Resources Action Plan (ORAP)
terminating on Jul 1 1975, and
programs for a period of live years a ing y ,
WHEREAS, St. Croix County desires to update its County Outdoor Reo-
reation Plan and to ensure continuing eligibility to participate in then
LAWCON and ORAP programs for the County and all the communities Within the
county; and
WSSREAS, the West Central Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission has
the resources to revise and update such plan;
NOW, THEREFORE EE IT RESOLVED that the Ste Croix County Board in
regular session hereby goes on record to request the West Central g
Wisconsin Regional Planning Commission to revise and update the St. Croix
County Outdoor Recreation Plan at no additional cost to the county;
AND, BS IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all local communities in the
county be included in such revised and updated plan.
