RESOLUTION CREATING STUDY COMMITTEE TO DETEPTT�IINE WHETHER A MEMORIAL TO
WISCONSIN POLICE: OFFICERS YTLI.ED IN LINE OF DUTY SHOULD BE PLACED IN THE
ST. CR.OIX COUNT" COT'RT HOUSE
V-T&v'.l,S, the State of Wisconsin Sheriffs' and Deputy Sheriffs' Association
and eight other professional police associations have combined to place memor-
ial plaques to the counties of the State of Wisconsin honoring law enforcement
officers killed in the line of duty, and
WHEREAS said memorial plaques would be available to St. Croix County
at no cost, and
WHEREAS, it is fitting that the devotion of law enforcement officers
killed in the line of duty be recognized,
THEREFORE BE "" RESOZVFP by the St. Croix County Board in regular session
that the Building CiorTnittee be authorized and directed to confer with the
Sheriff of St. Croix County to determine whether or not a tasteful memorial
plaque shall be placed in a public portion of the Court House building.
