ESTABLISHING CENTRAL EMERGENCY SERVICES
TELEPHONE NUMBER AND CENTER
WHEREAS, St. Croix County does not have a centralized emergency number
available twenty-four hours per day, and
WHEREAS, there is often a delay in locating resources to respond to
medical emergency situations, and
WHEREAS, it is in the interest of the citizens of St. Croix County
to establish such a system, and
WHEREAS, this system could be expanded by the County at its option
to include other services such as Fire, Police or Sheriff protection,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
in regular session that St. Croix County establish a centralized emergency
medical service center for central dispatching of emergency medical services
at the St. Croix County Sheriffts Office; and that the services shall use
telephone number 715-386-2345 to provide centralized dispatch of emergency
services.
