RESOLUTION #
MOTION ADJUSTING PER DIEM AND MILEAGE ALLOWANCE FOR TOWNSHIP
TREASURERS WHEN CONFERRING WITH COUNTY TREASURER
WHEREAS, Town Treasurers in the Townships of St. Croix County
are required to meet with the County Treasurer of St. Croix County to
settle accounts for tax purposes, and
WHEREAS, said meetings require that the Town Treasurers report
to the County Treasurer at the Courthouse in Hudson, Wisconsin, and no
County transportation is available for this purpose, and
WHEREAS, said meeting involves substantial amounts Town Treasurers'
time being expended on the business of the County;
THEREFCRE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of -
Suaervisors in regular session that each To,m Treasurer engaged in
meetings with the County Treasurer for St. Croix County for purposes of
tax settlement be paid a per diem allowance of $10.00 per day and a
travel allowance not to exceed 12¢ per mile for mileage traveled, said
mileage to be calculated on the basis of the distance from the Township
Hall to the St. Croix County Courthouse.
