No We often find Well and Pressure systems installed after February 1, 1991 to current, where the sample faucet is a threaded sample faucet and a threaded sample faucet is not code from February 1, 1991 to current. If, we find there is a non-compliant sample faucet installed, would the homeowner like it to be replaced at time of inspection? This will save a return trip and the cost to replace the sample faucet at the time of inspection would be $20.00 plus tax versus $109.00 plus tax to return at a later time. If the pressure gauge is not working, would the homeowner like this to be replaced? Pressure gauges are not a code item, but is an inexpensive item to replace, $10.00 to replace at time of inspection if needed.
