Whereas: The Board of Control of Vocational District No. 18
is confronted with the decision to proceed with action concerning
the alternatives recommended by the study made bid the committee
from the University of Wisconsin,
Whereas: The County Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County
has been asked to make recommendations to District 18 Board of
Control as to its action in regard to alternatives in the study
recommendations,
Therefor be it resolved: That the County Board of Supervisors
of St. Croix County go on record to recommend that District 18
adopt the recommendation No. 3 for the time being until such
time that a careful study can be made of recommendation No. 1.
A careful study of curriculum should be made and plans for a
building to fit the needs of said curriculum with plans for
future additions that may be needed to fit future expansion.
Be It Further Resolved: That the Board of District 18 dis-
regard the term immediate in alternative No. 1 realizing that
careful planning might involve a full year and that interest
rates may improve in the near future. Definite plans and an
well organized program of education of the public for a bond
referendum will be desirable. Immediate could very well
mean a period of two to three years.
Be It Further Resolved: That the Vocational Board stu#y its
reduction
present Administrative Staff relative to its A" until such
time that a staff of the present size is ne/ ary /�_
