HomeMy WebLinkAboutResolution 1970 (29) RESOLUTION N0."�' WHEREAS, the State Retirement and Annuity Board rules that when an employee reaches the age of 65, he must retire by the end of the quarter in which he becomes 65, and WHEREAS, in some instances it is advantageous to St. Croix County that such an employee be retained in the employ of said county until the end of that particular construction season or when deemed necessary by the County Highway Committee, and WHEREAS, this can only be done when such an employee has been certified to continue working by the St. Croix County Board or an individual who has been delegated by the St. Croix County Board to authorize certification of employees to continue working after 65 when it is deemed necessary. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Chairman of the County Board of St. Croix County be authorized to certify employees to continue working after they are 65, when it is deemed necessary by the County Highway Committee.
