ADDITIONAL STAFF FOR SERVICES TO THE JUVENILE
COURT AND THE SOCIAL SERVICES DEPARTMT
WHEREAS, the increased volume of delinquent girls referred to
the attention of the Juvenile Court and the increased volume of work in
the Social Services Department, required the Juvenile Court Judge and
Agency Director to develop a proposal to meet this need; and
WHEREAS, the proposal recommends that a female social worker
be made available to the Juvenile Court to supervise delinquent girls and
to continue to perform other social service duties required by the Social
Service Department; and
WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Social Services (Welfare
Committee) has recommended and approved the proposal to most the staff needs
of the Social Service Department and Juvenile Court, with the understanding
that the staff person assigned to perform the oeriices to the Juvenile Court
will be under the supervision and direction of the Agency Director and St.
Croix County Board of Social Services (Welfare Committee); and
WHEREAS, federal and state cost sharing funds are available in
meeting the expense of the additional staff person;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the St. Croix County Board
of Social Services (Welfare Committee) be authorized to employ a staff mem-
ber to meet the staff need of the Juvenile Court and Department of Social
Services.
