WHEREAS the St. Croix County Board of Suporvisers at their February 1970 session
authorized by resolution the St. Croix County Highway Committee to acquire property
adjacent to the highway office and shop in the Village of Hammond for future expansion,
and,
WHEREAS the Highway Committee has acquired the property described as, tots One and
Two, Block Two# Bushnell and. Pace Addition in the Village of Hammond, except the South
21 feet of said Lot Two from Farmco FS, Inc. for the purchase price of $5,000.00, and
WHEREAS the Highway Committee does not have funds available for this purchase.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that $5,000.00 be transferred from the General Fund to the
Land Purchase Fund to pay for this acquisition.
