Resolution Regarding Development of Basic Facilities, Structure
Site #10 of the Glen Hills Watershed.
Whereas: The St. Croix County Soil & Water Conservation District
is in the process of developing a recreation area in the Glen Hills
Watershed and
Whereas: Portions of the recreational facilities will not be
cost shared by the Federal Government under PL 566 Watersheds and
Whereas: The park is being developed for recreational use by the
general public.
Therefore be it resolved that St. Croix County make application
for an ORAP grant on a cost share basis for the development of the
campgrounds and
Be it further resolved that St. Croix County has appropriated funds
for the project and shall be the governmental body to receive grant
funds from CRAP and
Be it further resolved that St. Croix County be responsible for
the care and maintenance of the campgrounds and other recreational
facilities and
Be it further resolved that the Department of Natural Resources
contact William Kelm, contracting officer for the Glen Hills Watershed,
in all matters concerning the funding and development of the campgrounds
and recreational area.
This resolution adopted #ril 6, 1972 at the regular meeting,, of the
Soil and Water Conservation District Supervisors at Baldwin, Wisconsin.
