RADIO SYSTEM MODIFICATION:
Whereas St. Croix County has experienced problems with the Law Enforcement
Radio System;
Whereas St. Croix County has consulted an Electrical Engineer regarding these
problems and he has made certain recommendations to Motorola Corp. to rectify
these problems;
Whereas Motorola Corp. has cooperated and is willing to provide certain
recommended items at no charge to the County while there are certain other items
which would be supplied at the expense of St. Croix County;
Whereas the modifications recommended by the Engineer are necessary to insure
communications for ALL of St. CRoix County Law Enforcement Agencys;
Whereas it will require up to $10,000.00 to accomplish the following
modification as the St.'Croix County cost;
1. Replace the present guyed tower with a self supporting tower $ 5,132.00
2. Convert repeater to narrow spaced repeater, change crystalls,
and two new type antennas 2,235.00
3. Replace three 30 watt mobils with three 80 watt units 747.00
4. Provide for auxiliary power and housing of equipment,
esttmate-not to exceed 1,886.00

Now therefore be it resolved and is hereby resolved that $10,000.00
be transferred from the General Fund to the Law Enforcement Committee to
