WHEREAS, the positiozn of Chef. Joi.ler to assist the Sheriff of
Stn Croi-.x: County has been established by resolution of this 9oard in
1971, and
(CAMAS this position is not currently filled, and
AREAS the Sheriff of St. Croix County has provided data and
iztformation altering and axpanding the duties of said Chief Jailer to
include administrative assistance to the Sheriff, assisting in aver—all
performance of his duties, and
WHEREAS the Law Enforcement Committee has deemed such position
as!spntial to assist the Sheriff of :St. Croix County,
TREREFORF BE IT RESOLVED by the Stn Croix County Board of Supervisors
in regular session that the job title classification "Chief Jailer" in,
changed to that of "Administrative A.asswant to the Sheriff", and a salary
thin the range of $10,000 to $12,OOC per annum is established and
authorised for fiscal Year 1974, with duties to be as reromeuded by the
Sheriff to the Board.
