C,RH;bCF.AS, St. Croix County provides meals to prisoners incarcerated
upon municipal charges in the St. Croix County Jail, and
WHEREAS the Sheriff of St. Croix County bills municipalities
for meals provided to their primoners, and
WHEREAS increased coats have made the sum of $.80 per meal non-
compensatory, and
WMEAS it has been a substantial ti-a since that amount wags
set,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board. of Supervisors
in regular session that in light of increased costa, the amount which the
..sheriff bilis municipalities for meals provided to prisoners be increased
from $.80 to $1.00 per meal beginning January 1, 1974.
