RESOLVED, by the County Board of Supervisors of St. Croix County that with respect to
earnings paid on and after January 1, 1974 to participating employees of the St. Croix
County Highway Department and County Patrol Department, St. Croix County shall pay to the
Wisconsin Retirement Fund, in lieu of an equal amount of the retirement contributions
required to be deducted from each payment of earnings to such participating employees
pursuant to a. 66.903(2) of the Wisconsin Statutes, an amount equal to four and one half
(41) percent of the total earnings of such participating employees.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all such payments of contributions made by St. Croix
County shall be reported to the Wisconsin Retirement Fund in the same manner as though
deducted from the earnings of participating employees, and all such payments of contributions
made by St. Croix County shall be available for all Retirement Fund benefit purposes to the
same extent as normal contributions which were deducted from the earnings of participating
employees, it being understood that such payments made by St. Croix County shall not be
considered municipality contributions.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the above shall remain in effect for one year only and
shall terminate December 31, 1974.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that a certified copy of this resolution be filed with the
Board of Trustees of the Wisconsin Retirement Fund.
