(� WHEREAS there are nov 341.48 miles of County trunk highways in St. Croix County, and WHEREAS it is becoming increasingly difficult each year for the County to raise sufficient Rands to properly maintain and reconstruct as needed the highways now on the County Trunk Highway System, and WHEREAS if more highways were added to the County Trunk Highway System and the County Highway Department were required to expand money to bring these newly added highways up to County trunk highway standards as specified by Wisconsin Statutes, other County trunk highways would not be improved as needed. FURTHER, the Rinds requested by the County Highway Department for the maintenance and snow removal of the present system would be insufficient to properly maintain the additional mileage added to the County Trunk Highway System. THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that before any highways are added to the County Trunk Highway System they be constructed in such a manager as to meet Wisconsin state specifications for County Trunk Highways, BE IT FARTHER RESOLVED that if highways are added to the County Trunk Highway System an equal number of-� be removed from the County Trunk Highway System and be placed on the town road system where they are located.
