WHEREAS on February 27, 1973 the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
passed a resolution imposing a moratorium on residential construction on lands
abutting the St. Croix River in anticipation that federal guidelines would be
forthcoming conerning implementation of Federal legislation concerning these
lands, and
WHEREAS said moratorium expires on October 25, 1973, and
WHEREAS it is deemed desirable to extend said moratorium to allow
sufficient additional timefor said Federal eral standards to be promulgated,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors in regular session that the moratorium resolution Number 12,
dated February 27, 1973 be extended to January 1, 1974 or until appropriate
Federal standards are promulgated, or whichever event occurs first.
