WHEREAS St. Croix County has been under an order from the United
States District Court ordering reapportionment of the supervisory districts for
the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors, and
WHEREAS public hearing was held concerning this matter on September 19, 1973
at the St. Croix County Courthouse, and
WHEREAS the Reapportionment Committee of the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors has reviewed this situation and made specific recommendations concerning
this matter to the Board of Supervisors;
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors
in regular session that the City of Hudson be granted a fifth supervisor to
represent the citizens of the City of Hudson and St. Croix County and that all
five supervisors for the City of Hudson be elected from the residents of the -
City of Hudson at large, without regard to location of residence within the
said City.
