WHEREAS the County of St. Croix has observed the practice
of full disclosure of actions of the County Board by publishing
reports of its proceedings in divers newspapers of the County, and
WHEREAS the County of St. Croix expresses its desire to
continue to do so, and
WHEREAS the County of St. Croix has deemed it desirable
to designate a newspaper pursuant to Chapters 345.05(1)(a), 985.05(1)
and 985.03 of the Wisconsin Statutes as its official newspaper, and
WHEREAS the Hudson Star Observer, published weekly at
Hudson, Wisconsin, satisfies the requirements of the Wisconsin Statutes,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board
of Supervisors in regular session that the Hudson Star Observer, a
newspaper published weekly at Hudson, Wisconsin, be designated
the official newspaper of St. Croix County.
