WHEREAS St. Croix County has participated in a program by which
snowmobilestrails are fenced for purposes of security and safety of residents
and visitors to St. Croix County, and
WHEREAS said practice has created, and is creating, an excessive
drain upon resources of St. Croix County,
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors in regular session that further and future appropriations for
fencing for snowmobile trails be limited to an amount not to exceed 50% of
total cost of said fencing and that amounts in excess of this be contributed
from private sources who are to be benefited by said fencing.
Adopted this 13th day of November 1973.
