RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ISSUANCE OF A SPECIAL HUNTING
LICENSE AT NO COST TO RESIDENTS OF WISCONSIN ,65 YEARS
OF AGE AND OVER
WHEREAS, our friends and citizens of the State of Wisconsin who
retire at age 65 have contributed much to our great state in both monitary
and physical values, and
WHEREAS, we all know that they retire on a limited income, and
WHEREAS, some retirees have always enjoyed the great outdoors of
our wonderful state recreation-wise, and would like to continue doing
so, and
WHEREAS, it is the general consensus that anything that is done for
them is greatly appreciated,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the County Board of Supervisors
of St. Croix County that this Board go on record recommending the
issuance of a Special Hunting License, without fee, to residents 65
years of age or over as a good will gesture and token for their contri-
bution to our great state.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this resolution be sent to
all other counties and to our legislators,
