RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION 428 OF FEBRUARY 26,:1969
WHEREAS on February 26, 1969 the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors passed Resolution #28, whereby the sale of county-owned property
was authorized to Martha (Mrs. Emil) Wegge; and
WHEREAS the legal description of said real property was erroneous
due to scrivener's error; and
WHEREAS said Resolution #28 does not truly reflect the will of
the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors; and
WHEREAS the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors deems it in
the best interest of St. Croix County to correct and re-form said resolution
#28 of February 26, 1969;
THEREFORE be it resolved by the St. Croix County Board of
Supervisors that said Resolution #28 of February 26, 1969 be amended and
re-formed to read as follows:
A parcel of land located in the NW 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 34,
T31N-R19W, lying between the southwesterly right of way line of County.
Trunk Highway "I" as was laid out and traveled on 1 January 1966 and
a line that is 50 feet distant at right angles southwesterly from and
parallel to the following described reference line; commencing at the
SE corner of the NE 1/4 of the NE 1/4 of Section 34, T31N R19q,thence
S 880 06' W (Mag) on the south line of the NE 1/4 of the A 1/4 of Sec.
34, T31N-R19W for a distance of 1069.75 feet to the point of beginning,
thence northwesterly on a 6 degree right curve for a distance of
1106.25 feet,
AND the Clerk of the County of St. Croix is hereby to execute
a Quit Claim Deed conveying all of said St. Croix County's right, title and
interest in the above described property to Martha Wegge for the 10 �price
of One ($1.00) Dollar and other good and valuable consideration received in hand.
