They are going to use the letter head logo for the home page. Survey Review: Whiting briefly went over the results of the survey responses received from 19 of the 31 County Board Supervisors. There are not many negative responses as far as the way the county is operating with the committees that are now in place. Bieraugel feels that most of the supervisors are happy with the way things are being run at the present time. Standafer thinks we should have an Executive and Budget Committee comprised of Chairmen from all County committees. All County Board Supervisors would elect the County Board Chair, Vice Chair and Committee Chairs. This group would make up the Executive Board. The Board would then elect each committee's members according to the qualifications and contributions they can make to a respective committee. The committee needs to look at what committees could be combined and what sub- committees are needed. There was a lot of discussion on how to structure the committees. Luckey feels a check and balance system is important. The committee started with a work sheet to combine committees with similar responsibilities and related tasks. Whiting will look at and research the work sheet and committee suggestions. He will also check with department heads for their suggestions on how to achieve improvements to our committee structure. His findings will be presented to the Committee at their October meeting. UNOFFICIAL RECORD The Committee is also going to try and work closer with our State Legislator and Representatives. This could be accomplished through meetings, phone calls or written contacts. Motion by O'Connell, 2nd by Standafer to adjourn at 10:55 A.M.
