Present: Leon Berenschot, Ronald Raymond, Art Jensen, Chris Bethke, Lois Burri, Kimberly
Reaman,and Mike Perkl, District Director.
The meeting was called to order by Chairman Chris Bethke.
Date of next meeting was set for March 7. -
Raymond moved that the agenda be adopted as presented. Jensen seconded the motion.
Motion carried.
Berenschot moved that the previous meeting's minutes be approved. Burri seconded the
motion. Motion carried.
Raymond moved that the vouchers be approved. Berenschot seconded the motion. Motion
carried.
Administrative Report
Federal Budget Update—No report.
State Budget Update—No Report.
County Budget Update—Reaman met with Rich Loney, Finance Director to review and
discuss the deficit in the department's budget. Loney is aware of the situation and indicated
that each department's budget would be rolled back into the county budget, surpluses and
deficits. It is not necessary for Reaman or the committee to submit a written explanation.
Mike Perkl, UWEX Western District Director discussed the St. Croix County Family Living
Position and explained the process and opportunity for moving the position into fall time from
the University's perspective.
Agent Performance Appraisals—Closed session– 19.85 (1) C: Moved by Burn, seconded by
Raymond to go into closed session for the agent performance evaluations. Passed.
Raymond moved to adjourn. Jensen seconded.
