Florence Patrick was excused. Also present were Sandy Gehrmann, Jonna Fedie, Barb Blaisdell, Jolayne Mehr, Lorraine Jacobs, Donna Zacharias, Gladys Ellefson, Pat Otto, and Polly Hanson. ADOPTION OF AGENDA: A motion was made by Marguerite Sumner and seconded by Doris Teigen to adopt the agenda as printed; motion carried. DATE OF NEXT MEETING: The next meeting will be May 25, 2000 at 8:30 a.m. at Croixview Apartments in Hudson. ACTION OF PREVIOUS MINUTES. A motion was made by Rich Peterson and seconded by John Mortensen to approve the minutes as printed; motion carried. A special presentation was given to Phil Hammer for his three terms on the Council on Aging. Introductions were made. UNFINISHED BUSINESS: Fund Raising Updates. The Silent Auction/Dinner was held on Thursday, March 23' at Staff Reports: The Wilder Foundation statistics were discussed. There was discussion on Home Health Care and personal care. There is a definite need for both in St. Croix County. Sandy explained that Medicare would be solvent until 2023 and Social Security to 2037, according to recent update. The Senior Celebration will be held on Wednesday, May 10t' at the Faith Community Church. Other events scheduled are Senior Health and Fitness Day - Wednesday, May 31St at the YMCA in Hudson, "Teeing It Up For Senior Services" - Monday, June 12t' at Bristol Ridge, and Senior Leadership Training - Thursday, October 12t' at the Government Center. Farm City Days will be held at Rich and Evelyn Peterson's on August 12t''. SITEXENTER REPORTS: BALDWIN: Participants are planning a shopping trip to Hudson. Donna will be retiring the end of May. HUDSON: The Center is planning its Easter Dinner and also a Burger Night. NEW RICHMOND: Deerfield will use the van on Tuesdays and Fridays. The dining room was painted. Tuesdays will be Movie and Popcorn Day. A van trip is being planned to Stillwater on May 5t''. RIVER FALLS: Participants are decorating eggs. The Footcare Clinic and cards are doing well. WOODVILLE: Cards and BINGO are being played. The Senior Center Board agreed to pay $7.00 for Woodville
