PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING
Date: April 5,2000 Location: Government Center, Hudson
The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 9:10 a.m. by Chairman Gerald
Peterson. Members present: Peterson, Mary Louise Olson, Herb Giese, Art Jacobson, and Julie
Speer arriving at 9:25 a.m. Also present: Debra Kathan.
Moved (Giese, Olson) and approved to adopt the agenda as presented. The next meeting
was scheduled for 9 a.m., April 6. Moved (Jacobson, Olson) and approved to adopt the minutes
of the April 3 Personnel Committee meeting.
Motion (Olson, Giese)to go into closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) c and e for the
purpose of continuing labor negotiations with the AFSCME union. Roll call vote: all aye; moved
into closed session at 9:20 a.m. Present for the negotiation sessions were GGSS Union
representatives Janet Smith and Rich Monn. Moved (Jacobson, Giese) and approved to come out
of closed session at 4:37 p.m. Peterson announced that the group had reached a tentative
agreement with the GGSS Union representatives on issues affecting Appendix D. Moved (Giese,
Speer) and approved to adjourn at 4:37 p.m.
