SUBMITTED BY: Debra Kathan Personnel Director DATE: January 3, 2000 COPIES TO: County Board Office, County Clerk, News Media, Notice Board, Committee Members i PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING January 14, 2000 Location: Government Center, Hudson The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 9:03 a.m. by Chairman Gerald Peterson. Members present: Peterson, Art Jacobson, Julie Speer, Mary Louise Olson, and Herb Giese. Also present: Debra Kathan and Steve Weld. Representing the AFSCME GGSS Union were Janet Smith and Rich Monn. Moved (Olson, Jacobson) and approved to adopt the agenda as presented. The next meeting was scheduled for 9 a.m., January 19 at the Health Center. Motion(Olson, Speer)to go into closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) c and e for the purpose of continuing labor negotiations with the GGSS Union. Roll call vote: all aye; moved into closed session at 9:05 a.m. Arriving at 9:20 was AFSCME business agent Steve Hartmann. Moved (Olson, Giese) and approved to come out of closed session at 11:05 a.m. No new meeting dates were set. The Committee discussed items for inclusion on upcoming meetings including general updates of labor-related issues and policies and procedures.
