PERSONNEL COMMITTEE MEETING
Date: January 10, 2000 Location: Government Center, Hudson
The Personnel Committee meeting was called to order at 12:30 p.m. by Chairman Gerald
Peterson. Members present: Peterson, Art Jacobson, Mary Louise Olson, Herb Giese, and Mary
Louise Olson. Also present: Debra Kathan, Dennis Hillstead, Steve Weld.
Moved (Speer, Giese) and approved to accept the agenda as presented. Next meetings
were schedule for January 14, 9 a.m., in the Government Center and January 19, 9 a.m., at the
Health Center in New Richmond. Moved (Jacobson, Giese) and approved to accept the minutes
of the Personnel Committee meetings dated November 29, December 9, and December 15.
Motion(Olson, Jacobson)to go into closed session per WI Stat. 19.85 (1) c and e for the
purpose of continuing labor negotiations with the LAW union. Roll call vote: all aye; moved
into closed session at 12:42 p.m. Present for the LAW union were Jeff Klatt, John Shilts, Dave
Hake, Chris Drost, and business agent Tom Bauer. Moved(Speer, Olson) and approved to come
out of closed session at 4:10 p.m. Peterson asked that the committee be updated on the progress
of securing direct deposit for employee paychecks. Committee adjourned at 4:10 p.m.
