MINUTES
PLANNING,ZONING AND PARKS COMMITTEE
ST CROIX COUNTY GOVERNMENT CENTER
AUGUST 25,2000
PRESENT: Chairperson Ron Raymond, Supervisors Buck Malick, Gerald Larson, Linda Luckey and
Art Jensen. Staff. Dave Fodroczi and Ellen Denzer. Guests: Chuck Whiting,Administrative
Coordinator and Greg Timmerman.
Chairperson Ron Raymond called the meeting to order at 11:10 a.m. Supervisor Malick arrived at 11:15
a.m. A motion to adopt the agenda was made by Supervisor Jensen, seconded by Supervisor Malick and
carried.
MINUTES
A motion to approve minutes of July 18th, 2000 was made by Supervisor Larson, seconded by
Supervisor Malick and carried.
Review Draft Casino Assessment Impact Report
Denzer and Fodroczi presented the final draft of the impact assessment and the two transmittal letters. j
Denzer summarized the formatting changes to improve the flow of the document and specific additions
and changes from the previous Committee meeting. Discussion. Malick expressed concern that the
opening statement in the draft conclusions was not clear and suggested that it simply be removed.
Motion to approve the Impact Assessment of the Proposed St. Croix Meadows Casino with the suggested
revision and recommend that the County Board Chairman sign the attached transmittal letters and submit
to proper parties was made by Chairman Raymond, seconded by Supervisor Malick and carried. F
Motion to adjourn by Supervisor Larson, seconded by Chair Raymond and carried. The meeting
adjourned at 12:10 p.m.
