Quorum 246-8325 Adoption of Agenda: Request by Ron Lockwood to make change in today's agenda; Ron Eichstaedt, St. Croix Industries Director unable to attend. Norma Vrieze, Birth to Three Program Direct would make an informational presentation. Motion to adopt agenda with requested changes made by Marge Wolske; second by Mortensen; carried. Previous Minutes: It is noted that Mare Wolske's name was omitted from the minutes from the September 7 meeting and that she was in attendance. Motion to approve minutes as submitted with the noted correction made by Marguerite Sumner; second by Richard Peterson; carried. Next Meeting: Thursday, January 11, 2001, 1:30pm at the Health Center Board Room. LTS Planning Committee Meeting Minutes November 9, 2000 Page 3 I Waiting List Committee Report: The recommendations of the waiting list committee were submitted to the committee (handout). Ray Mealey thanked that committee for there work on this. He also requested that a copy of the report be sent to Sandy Gehrmann, Department on Aging. A motion was made by Keith Gregerson to accept these recommendations and submit them to the human service board; second by Marge Wolske; carried. Chair Ray Mealey asked for a volunteer from that committee to present the report to the Human Services Board and also to work on the Long Term Support Staff work group that is examining efficiencies of operating the waiver programs. Wanda Viellieux volunteered; she will present the report summary to the HSB`on Tues., Nov. 14th and to attend the LTS Workgroup (Penny Pinchers). Other announcements/information: Marge Wolske announced that the new Hammond Senior Center will have open house 1-3pm on Nov 29. It is located in the lower level of Heartland Home Care building. St. Croix Industries sent over invitations to the annual christmas lunch. Also the St Croix Industries Newsletter was handed out.
