Robole identified the hospital' s generator as a 125 KW generator with an Allis Chalmers diesel motor, which was about 20 years old. He stated that this generator was capable of supplying all of the power needs of the Ag. Center, at this time. There was discussion on the cost and equipment that would come with the generator. Jacobson will check with the hospital to obtain answers to some concerns address by Committee members and report back to Colvard. Boche thought it might be appropriate to bring this up on the Finance Committee for discussion. C. Director' s Report: Colvard informed the Committee that he has received approximately $35, 000 in grant monies so far, for the year, and that there is still approximately $6, 500 to come in. Also, the presentation that he made at a Department of Health and Family Services Conference, in September, appears to have been well received. He was requested to present the same information at the Emergency Management Regional Meeting, in October, at Eau Claire and that the State requested copies of his presentation for distribution to other counties working on nursing home planning. There was discussion concerning the status of the inventorying of shelters in the County and that the Red Cross person doing the inventory wasn' t able to accomplish the job as rapidly as the County would like it done. Boche/Jacobson MOTION to recommend to the Red Cross that county Red Cross personnel do the inventory instead of the chapter personnel from Washington County doing it. This would expedite matters tremendously. Colvard will contact the chapter chairman with the recommendation. d.
