ST ROUK,,, RESOLUTION ADOPTING AMENDMENT #3 TO THE 2017
'j ' BUDGET ADDING CRIME DATA ANALYST
1 WHEREAS, the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors adopted the 2017 County Budget on
2 November 1, 2016; and

4 WHEREAS, changing operational needs and opportunities present an opportunity to improve
5 services with an amendment to the 2017 budget; and
6
7 WHEREAS, a retirement in the Sheriff's Department administrative staff provides for an
8 opportunity for realignment of job duties and the creation of a new position, offset by the elimination of
9 another; and
10
11 WHEREAS, the change results in a cost savings, while providing greater service delivery to law
12 enforcement and the County as a whole.

14 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does
15 authorize amendment number 2 of the 2017 County Budget to the accounts and authorized FTE's listed
16 below:
