ST. 0 �T'`rt`' RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING EXTRA STEP INCREASES
'"�`� � �' �' FOR EMPLOYEES OVER 15 YEARS OF SERVICE AND
BELOW MARKET RATE
1 WHEREAS, in 2016 the St. Croix County Board implemented the McGrath Uniform
2 Compensation Grid for all non-represented employees; and

4 WHEREAS,as part of the implementation,the plan recommended the County consider
5 additional steps for employees that had more years of service and were lower on the steps, if budgetary
6 funds were available.

8 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does hereby
9 approve, effective January 1, 2018, one additional step increase for employees with more than 15 years
10 of service and below market rate and two steps for employees with more than 20 years of service and
11 below market rate,to a maximum of market rate step 6.

Fiscal Impact: Fiscal impact is$36,329.74 for wages and fringe benefits. This is an annual,
recurring cost that is not included in the 2018 budget.
