ST. R0 P.NTy RESOLUTION ADOPTING 2018 BUDGET AND SETTING TAX

1 WHEREAS, the County Administrator provided a detailed overview of the 2018 County
2 Administrator recommended budget to the Committee of the Whole on October 11, 2017; and
3
4 WHEREAS, on October 18, 2017 the Administration Committee reviewed and forwarded the
5 2018 County budget to the County Board for consideration; and
6
7 WHEREAS, the County Board held a public hearing on the 2018 County Budget on November 7,
8 2017 as required by law; and

10 WHEREAS, the County Board has completed its review of the 2018 County Budget.

12 NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT the St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does
13 approve the 2018 County Budget, attached hereto; and
14
15 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the that the following amounts shall be levied against all 2017
16 taxable real property located within St. Croix County as follows:
17
18 State Taxes for:
19 Forestry Mill Tax pursuant to Wis. State §70.58 $0
20
21 County Taxes for:
22 General County Operations $28,158,513
23 Debt Service Obligations $ 4,037,102
24 Special Purpose - Bridge Aid $ 52,300
25 Special Purposes - Library Aid $ 1,156,590 $33,404,505

27 Total Amount Levied $33,404,505

29 BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED THAT the County Administrator shall execute the adopted budget,
30 ensuring that all expenditures of County funds are made in strict compliance with the budget.The
31 Finance Department and the Administration Committee shall review and administer all department and
32 agency requests for adjustments or transfers of budgeted funds as required by law and the County
33 Board Rules and Bylaws.
