CROIX CROSSING BIKE/PEDESTRIAN LOOP TRAIL STROOMS HOULTON SCHOOL CIRCLE TRA.ILHEAD RE FACILITY DESCRIPTION: Trailhead restrooms will be designed to accommodate 500 bikers per day. The restrooms also will have 2 floor drains PROPOSED POWTS DESCRIPTION: Soil conditions are suitable for an In-Ground POWTS. The system will consist of a 3000 gallon septic tank with a POLYLOK 525 effluent filter followed by a 3000 gallon septic tank with a POLYLOK 625 effluent filter. The elevations make a pump necessary, so duplex pumps will be install in a 1000 gallon dose tank. Pressure distribution will be incorporated into the design using the duplex pumps. To decrease the size of the pumps, each pump will feed a separate but equal in size pressure distributed EZ flow soil absorption area. Each area will consist of four 100 foot long cells (2-200 foot cells fed by a center manifold).
