HAZARDS - OF THE ST. CROIX COUNTY CODE OF
ORDINANCES
1 TO AMEND Section 42.08(C) of the St. Croix County Code of Ordinances: Human Health Hazards

3 The St. Croix County Board of Supervisors does ordain as follows:

5 SECTION 1. That subsection (6) of Section 42.08(C) of the code be amended to read as
6 follows:

8 (6) Toxic or Hazardous Material - Any chemical and/or biological material that is
9 stored, used, or disposed of in such quantity or manner that it is, or has, the potential to
10 create a pollution risk or a human health hazard. This provision shall not aply to chemical
11 and/or biological material that is properly managed, stored, used or disposed of in the
12 normal course of farming operations.

14 SECTION 2. That subsection (12) of Section 42.08(C) of the code be amended to read as
15 follows:

17 (12) Inoperable Vehicles and Vehicle Parts-Outdoor storage of abandoned,unlicensed,or
18 inoperable vehicles or outdoor storage of motor vehicles parts,except for those properties that
19 have permits to operate a junkyard or salvage yard or are commercial sellers of vehicles and/or
20 vehicle parts. This provision shall not aply to the outdoor storage of abandoned,unlicensed,
21 or inoperable vehicles or outdoor storage of motor vehicle parts that are stored and used in the
22 normal course of farming operations.

24 SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective upon passage and publication. (This section
25 shall not be codified).
