Present for the meeting were Chairman Henry Hurtgen, Supervisor Francis Klatt, Clerk Lorelei Wink and Treasurer Cheryl Slind. Tom Wink was absent. Approve Agenda Motion to approve agenda by Francis Klatt; 2nd by Henry Hurtgen. Motion carried unanimously. Approval of Prior Meeting Minutes Motion by Henry Hurtgen to approve March minutes; 2nd by Francis Klatt. Motion carried unanimously. Plan Commission Report of Last Meeting Plan Commission met June 13 at 6 PM to discuss the renewal of the conditional permit for Milestone Minerals (Mathy). Also discussed was a CSM for Mark Tyler. Donan brought up the fact that this CSM went to the county first and then to the town of Emerald for approval. He suggested that the county be contacted to let them know that we would like to have the maps come to the town for approval first, then to the county. Clerk will contact them to let them know this. A motion to approve both items was made by Henry Hurtgen; 2 by Francis Klatt. Motion carried unanimously. June 13. 2018 Page 1 of 4 Motion by Henry Hurt.• to approve financial report; 2nd by Francis Klatt. Motion carried unanimously. Patrolman's Report 1. Donan gave an update of the purchase of the new truck. The bill date will be 9 26-18 and should receive the truck in October. Then it will be about 120- 160 days to get the truck put together with the plow, truck box, etc. 2. Donan stated that at 1625 Highway 63 (New Richmond), an outbuilding structure was being built and there was no building permit. Clerk will send out a letter informing owner to obtain a permit. 3. Cheryl has sent out letters to dog owners that have not paid their dog licenses. There was an issue about 2 pitbulls killing a cat. Cheryl will send a letter out to 2402 160" Avenue to address these two dogs. 4. Jeff Bazille property: The cattle have been moved out. They left 1 steer in the fence, which is legal. Nothing was reported to the county. Donan will continue to monitor the situation. 5. There was a request by the Emerald Community Fund for the town to pay for one of the volleyball nets and border at the Emerald Park. The park currently has 2 volleyball nets that need replacing. The Community Fund will pay for one of the nets and borders. A motion was made for the town to pay for one net and border by Henry Hurtgen; 2"`' by Francis Klatt. Motion carried unanimously. Public Input Barb Nelson requested that people fill out a public library survey. She also introduced John Calebrese, who is running for State Assembly. Butch Kiekhoffer inquired about a later start time for the meetings. Henry stated that the meetings will stay at 6:30 PM. Update on 2517-170 Ave. Property A driveway permit has been issued; the owners intend to build a house and are working with the county on this. New Business Liquor/Operator License Approval. A motion was made to approve liquor license for Harley & Judes by Frances Klatt; 2"' by Henry Hurtgen. Motion carried unanimously.
